Amazon is recommending a new book, Roger Protz’ A Life on the Hop: Memoirs from a Career in Beer.
I’ll have to get a copy when it’s published.
Maybe I can persuade CAMRA to send me a copy.
In contrast to another Non-English beer blogger, I am not having a public quarrel with them.
But it’s so entertaining for the rest of us non-English bloggers, and probably quite a few English ones too 😀
Yes, it is. I’ll be happy to buy him a beer every time we meet if he goes off on a rant once in a while…
Hello, I’m 18 and having hard time finding a nice place to have a beer in Oslo. All the nice bars are 20+. The only place I’ve found so far that sells anything better than Ringnes/borg/frydenlund on tap would be Cafékontoret, which has Newcastle Brown. Do you have any suggestions?
That’s a tough one. I’ll ask around.
Ranting is good. Formulaic stereotyping isn’t. But then again, I don’t know to whom the remarks refer!
Nidvegvesenet, try Olympen or Bar & Cigar. I think it’s aquestion of when you are going out as well, some will be stricter in the late evening.
Cheers!
