Great pictures. I have some pictures from Britain during the WWII, which show the importance of beer to society. Unlike WWI when pubs were heavily restricted, Prime Minister Winston Churchill said pubs were the “blockhouses on the home front”. Some aircraft were modified to carry cask of beer rather than bombs – and the Royal Navy had float breweries which took beer around the world.
