I’ve blogged about Nørrebro Bryghus a number of times. I have visited their brewpub/restaurant, I have spent some time at their bar at Kastrup Airport – sadly closed down – and I have had the pleasure of trying a number of their beers at the festivals in Copenhagen. I have also noted, with more than a fair share of jealousy, their current range of barrel aged beers only available in Denmark.
One more reason to visit them is their Nordic gastronomy evening running through 2010. It seems like Wednesday is the slowest day at the restaurant, at selected dates you get a four course seasonal meal with five beers. In addition there is a bottle of beer to take home. All for 400 Danish Kroner.

I don’t believe it…
I’m heading to Copenhagen tomorrow and will be there for Wednesday night. I’d planned on popping over to Nørrebro on Wednesday as it happens. Pity it’s not one of those Wednesdays! And I already have a 500 Kroner note in my pocket! Although from past experience, that’ll disappear sharpish anyway.
Oh, I also plan on making a return to BrewPub København tomorrow night, for an informal meeting. I loved the beers there last time I visited, which is nearly a year ago! Time flies.
Any other recommendations around the city centre? Not Apollo though… been there, tried that etc…
Plan b is a lovely place, half way from Nørreport station towards Nørrebro Bryghus. Good food and often some real rarities on tap. And Lord Nelson is great for cask ales. Check out the maps on ratebeer, ale.dk might also be useful.
Thanks, Knut. The Lorn Nelson is half way between my hotel and meeting location on Wednesday. Handy, that.
