I have no plans of going to Munich, if so I would consider if this book was worth buying or not.
But the cover is almost enough to make me order a copy right away!

I bought a copy while in Munich for the Oktoberfest. It’s pretty good from what I’ve read so far.
That photo is slightly strange. If you look closely you’ll see that there’s a poster on the wall behind the rightmost figure. I can make out “Arbeitsfront” and part of a swastika.
A large version of the same photo was on the wall of a Paulaner pub I visited, but with the partial swastika erased.
Great cover pic. I’m tempted too!
Sad the book is in German. Would have been nice with an English translation.
However Münich-biertourists could pick up this book.

German is a useful language for a beer enthusiast. There are, however, limits to what my rusty school German can do in Bavaria…
