It’s not my fault that I havent’t blogged about the new beers from the Williams Bros in Scotland. It is not their fault either, they sent me a box months ago.
It seems to have vanished. In the middle of a word. A tracking system is not too impressive if it goes like this:
| 01/08/2009 | 06:22:00 | London Colney | Held – Arrived after trip depa |
| 01/08/2009 | 04:33:00 | London Colney | Into Customs |
| 01/08/2009 | 04:33:00 | London Colney | Arrival at O/B Gateway |

| 01/08/2009 | 04:32:00 | London Colney | Piece measured by DHL |
| 31/07/2009 | 16:54:00 | Edinburgh | Departure from depot |

I have filled in a form enquiring what Held – Arrived after trip depa means. And I’ve thought there was a gnome in the Norwegian customs system holding it up.
But it is certain that it has been throughly measured. Maybe by a thirsty measuring man?
I’ll keep you informed.
Nightmare! I guess the customs gnome has a nose for good beer.
I wonder how many are lost trying to break through the Maple Curtain as well.
Ours didn’t arrive either, though the couriers swear they delivered it to our neighbours. I reckon there’s some drunk postmen somewhere…
At least someone is getting a benefit from all this beer blogging.
I’d pay good money for photos documenting this. I envisage an international brotherhood of postmen laying around in ditches. Why don’t they go for the whisky people instead?
Oh, they do. And the bacon bloggers and the good cheese bloggers, too. It’s high time the food and drink bloggers got together for an anti-post office rumble.
