Two, well, enthusiasts, from the Danish Beer Enthusiasts, the people who gave us the European Beer Festival, have tested ten Danish Easter beers for the daily Politiken.
The best beers are from Ørbæk and newcomer BeerHere, while Ølfabrikken and Nørrebro also have decent scores. At the bottom of the list? The Tuborg Easter brew.
Somebody said that the Nørrebro bar in the arrival hall of Copenhagen airport has closed, but I haven’t checked myself. I hate airports that give one beer brand a monopoly….

That has to be a good sign, right? Our press hardly ever covers beer. It’s wine, wine and more bloody wine.
Beer coverage is huge in Denmark, probably because Carlsberg has been a major export brand for some tiem, and they cover food in all its aspects very well also.
Yes, the Nørrebro bar in the airport has closed, and all you can get hold of in the airport is Carlsberg and some other foreign macro beers. That even goes for the delicatessen shop and the bar next to it, that used to sell some Svaneke beers. I already hate Kastrup for extremely slow and destructive luggage handling and with the new Carlsberg monopoly I hate that airport even more!
